TSound - Copyright 1998 Michael Brick

The TSound component is a very small component, which uses the Windows Media Control Interface (MCI) methods directly to open and play sound files (*.MID, *.RMI, *.WAV, *.AVI).

The package contains the following files:

	Sound.dcu - (Unit for Delphi 3.x)
	Sound.dcr

	Sound32.dcu - (Unit for Delphi 3.0)
	Sound32.dcr

	Sound.hlp - (Help files)
	Sound.kwf

	Readme.txt
	File_ID.diz

	TSDemo.dpr - (Demo program)
	TSDemo1.pas
	TSDemo1.dfm
	TSDemo.mid - (Sound files)
	TSDemo1.wav
	TSDemo2.wav
	TSDemo3.wav
	TSDemo4.wav
	TSDemo5.wav

Please, install the Sound.dcu to use the TSound component with Delphi 1.x and install the Sound32.dcu to use the component with Delphi 3.0.

TSDemo.dpr demonstrates how the TSound component works. NOTE: The compiled EXE-File and the sound files (*.wav; *.mid) must be stored in the same directory.
